About KBA

Our Mission

  1. To advance and protect the interest of the members of the legal profession residing or practicing in and about the City of Kamloops, Province of British Columbia;
  2. To foster harmonious relations and cordial intercourse among its members;
  3. To uphold the honor and dignity of the profession of the law;
  4. To grant bursaries and scholarships;
  5. To encourage a high standard of legal education, training, and ethics;
  6. To co-operate with the Law Society of British Columbia and with the Benchers thereof and with other Bar;
  7. Associations in the furtherance of any of the objects of this Society;
  8. To circulate among its members information on all matters affecting the legal profession;
  9. To print , publish, issue, and circulate such papers, periodicals, magazines, books, circulars , and other literary undertakings a s may seem conducive to any of the above objects;
  10. To ensure the provision of efficient and comprehensive legal services for all persons in the a reserved by members of the Society.
